Moscow - 2033:
20 years have passed since the leading world nations annihilated themselves and the rest of the world with them. A few thousand managed to seek shelter in Moscow's Metro, surviving the explosions.
Cut off from the surface and its poisonous atmosphere contaminated by radiation, the survivors had no other choice but to build a new civilization underground, inside the metro.
Follow your protagonist through the harsh and ferocious tunnels of the Moscow Metro. Fight monsters in the dark. Talk your way out of precarious situations. Make hard decisions that could mean life or death. Level up and upgrade your gear. Everything to save your home station from certain Doom!

2033 - A Metro Tale is a non monetized fan project set in the apocalyptic world created by the Russian writer Dmitry Glukhovski portrayed in a classical text adventure style.

It was the first text adventure I played - seems like I really like the genre. The setting of the metro series fits the style perfectly. The combat and upgrade system is smart and the story got really intense. I'd like to play it again to see what different choices lead to. I'm excited for a (hopefully more extensive) sequel or a different tale in the same style and setting. That was fun, thanks!
Nice short text adventure experience - got me interested in reading the Metro books.
The fighting system with bullets doubling as currency is really cool and I'd love to see this expanded for a bigger game.
